What we build
A patio turns a patch of lawn or a crumbling slab into outdoor space you actually use. A good walkway gets people from the drive to the door, or from the house to the patio, without crossing wet grass.
Patios
Seating and dining areas sized to the furniture and the way the yard gets sun and shade. A patio can sit off the back door, out in the yard under a tree, or beside the pool as an extension of the pool deck.
Entries
The landing and approach at the front door, built to match the driveway or to stand on their own.
Walkways and paths
Paver walks, side-yard paths, and connections between the drive, the house, and the back yard. Stepping stones in gravel or groundcover suit a more relaxed side yard.
Slab replacements
An old concrete patio that has cracked, stained, or sunk, replaced with pavers.
Palms, beds, and lighting can be planned with the patio, so the hardscape and the planting are built by the same crew in one job.

Worth thinking about before the visit
A patio that gets used is usually one that was sized and placed for a specific purpose. A few things to have in mind when Craig comes out:
- What happens there. Morning coffee for two, a dining table for eight, a grill, or a fire feature.
- Furniture you already own. Rough measurements help size the patio so chairs do not hang off the edge.
- Sun and shade. Where the shade falls in the afternoon, and whether palms or a tree could add more.
- How people walk. The routes from the drive, the back door, and the pool that a walkway should follow.
- Where water goes. Low spots and downspouts near the patio area.
Patio and walkway questions
Straight answers. The specifics for your yard come from the on-site look.
01How big should my patio be?
Big enough for what you plan to do there, with room to walk around the furniture. A simple test before the visit: set out the chairs or table you plan to use, or mark the shape with a garden hose, and see how it feels. Craig will look at the space and suggest a size that fits the yard.
02Can a new patio match my driveway?
Yes. Patios, entries, and walkways can match the driveway or contrast with it on purpose. If the existing pavers are older, we will talk through how close a match is realistic.
03Can you replace an old concrete patio with pavers?
Yes, replacing a cracked or sunken slab is one of the patio jobs we take on. The on-site look covers how the old surface is handled and how the new patio meets the house, the doors, and the yard.
04How does rain drain off a paver patio?
Patios are generally built with a slight slope so water runs away from the house instead of toward it. Where the water goes from there depends on the yard, which is why grade and drainage are part of the on-site look.
05How long does a patio job take?
It depends on the size, whether an old slab has to come out, access to the back yard, and the weather. Craig can give you a timeline for your patio after the on-site look.
06Can planting and lighting be added around the patio?
Yes. Palms, beds, and lighting can be planned with the patio and built by the same crew. If you want the patio screened from neighbors, see privacy planting.
